In addition to a milk man we had a bread man- he delivered bread, doughnuts, cakes etc.

I remember the cream at the top of the milk bottles.... 🥛
Did you ever see the episode of "The Andy Griffith Show" when Aunt Bea made up a story that she was having a thing with the egg & butter man?

@DKH is a Mounds fan so he will not be happy with this
I love coconut

We got a minuscule coating of ice that will probably keep me from venturing out to the pool.
Guess I’ll stay in and make my Superbowl apps.
It is so pretty out. We got quite a bit, but it isn't a wet heavy snow.

Ever listen to a playlist favourite and remember that those who share a fondness for it almost invariably meet your criteria for being a good person?

Gonna be a long 2 weeks.

Definitely going to look into the tournament, but February is always a tough month for me anyway --- so not having the B's to watch will make it a little tougher.

I was sick of my cruise 2 days in. They just arent my jam. Hopefully you are going on one without kids on the cruise.
Yes, adults only indeed. Virgin Voyages
Have fun! I love cruises. Just starting to plan our next one.
I never thought that I would want to do this. I don't care for people, the ocean, the heat, or planes. So I'm loading myself up with Ativan and seasickness patches and just going for it.

Fortunately the woman with whom I am vacationing with I am absolutely crazy about, and she has an affinity for tropical places and boats and all that jazz. So just to be with her in HER element will be worth it for me. The endless dinner options at all hours of the night is a nice perk too I guess.

The hope is that this goes very well for me and I will get the cruise/vacation bug. I'd like to see Alaska but it's a big ask for me and my phobias

Going to AZ from the 23rd to March 4th.

Phoenix - Grand Canyon - Sedona. 3 nights each.

Looks like Phoenix will be 80s, Grand Canyon 50s, Sedona 60s. I'll take it.

Ironically this will be the best Feb vacation for skiing in 5 years but our April vacation aligns with MA this year but not Feb. Flights were pretty affordable to the west coast.

Any suggestions would be great, @Kovi @Glove Malfunction

Im not a fan of flying. Not a fear just consider it a huge pain in the ass. Everything about it.

I think thats why I so enjoy the cruises out of Boston. If you do end up liking the cruise aspect of your trip consider out of Boston if there is a next time.

Those come at a big price premium I assume? Then again, if you’re saving on flights to Miami or San Juan or wherever, I guess that upcharge isn’t so bad

Boston to Bermuda I think is similar prices to a normal cruise, though you are on the boat for a while.

Plus I would much rather be on a boat full of Massholes. At least I know what to expect. Went on my one and only cruise out of New Orleans, not the best crowd.

Ha, and sooo much bud light.

Funny thing is we thought it would be a spring break cruise. Being Northeastern Undergrads, we were in the Co-op rotation from Jan-June so we were Seniors (5th year) and had not had spring break since freshman year. BUT Northeastern didn't do a very long January break so our Spring break was in the Last few days of Feb/Early March. New Orleans was great but when we got on the ship full of boomers it was a bummer. One crew member laughed and said we were a week early.

I’ve done the Boston to Bermuda cruise, but it was for my mom’s 50th (16 years ago) and we could really only afford an inside cabin. I’d give cruising another shot with a nicer room that has a balcony, but I strongly prefer dealing with the 2 travel days and just sitting my ass on a resort for 7 nights.

If I went on a cruise I'd probably want a nice suite with a private balcony and just sit out there the whole time. I mean you're on a boat, enjoy the view.

They are essentially just floating theme parks now, if that's what I want I can go to one on land lol

Have I mentioned I'm not a fan of crowds?
