Me when I'm served salad instead of ice cream
I like the name Chibby. Somewhere is a dog who wants to live with you on Spahn ranch. You would have loved seeing 220lb chibby do it - believe it or not he was quite good
Love you boy
This is so sad. The mule packers who helped so many people in NC and TN after Helene (and are still doing so) lost three of their mules when they got out of the pasture when a tree fell on the fence, and were struck in the road.
I am watching the 50 years of SNL.
It opens with Paul Simon at 83 singing Homeward Bound. I remember him playing this with George Harrison
Steve Martin is the host...He is 79
I was born in 76, but know firmly that the 70’s were when I was meant to livePaul Simon hosted one of the first months SNL (he was fantastic & Art Garfunkel came out and they sang)
I watched the entire episode a few months ago
That show was so big when I was a kid - Paul Simon & George Harrison is iconic video to me
The 70’s were amazing sports & music and freedom.
@NeelyDan we used to go to school in the morning blasting lynyrd skynyrd, Mount, LZ (going to the making of Led Zeppelin movie tomorrow afternoon)
This weather is insane. Virtual cookies being sent your way.Yesterday we had flooding.
Last night we were under a tornado watch.
This morning it was snowing.
We're under a winter storm watch Tuesday night into Wednesday afternoon with up to 5 inches of snow expected.
Make up your mind, Tennessee!
Dude if you went to HS with me and hung out with us you would not believe how crazy and free wheeling it wasI was born in 76, but know firmly that the 70’s were when I was meant to live
I always thought the movie dazed and confused captured the vibe of that era so well
The 70s were unbelievable, I feel fortunate to have grown up during that time.Paul Simon hosted one of the first months SNL (he was fantastic & Art Garfunkel came out and they sang)

This may not make sense to some, but I truly mourn the loss of such timesDude if you went to HS with me and hung out with us you would not believe how crazy and free wheeling it was
We went to concerts all the time ~ I must have seen 50 concerts easy I’m taking big boys
Dazed & Confused was exactly how we rolled back then
Drinking age was 18 and we had open campus in HS and could leave school.
I shit you not
I bet I golfed 3-4 days a week my senior year of HS during school hours in spring. At 2:05 when school was getting out, we would stop where we were on course and have a moment of silence
It was cheapLed Zeppelin movie was great. Seeing concert footage at ear-splitting volume for someone who wasn’t yet born when they disbanded was awesome.
It’s an authorized biography so they don’t touch on the drugs, partying, etc. show ends with LZ II, so I assume they’re leaving room for a follow up.
Definitely worth the 2 hours. They wove a previously unreleased interview with John Bonham throughout the film and it was clear that the surviving members enjoyed hearing his voice.
@NeelyDan if you see it, go easy on the gummies. Some pretty trippy effects during some of the concert scenes
I, too, would have thrived in the 70s.
Honestly - if you think about it, and then contrast it with today - this is heartbreaking there’s no other word for itIt was cheap
I graduated from college early 80’s and took over my parents Bruins seats
Loge 7 row 1 seats 7&8 corner clock where Orr scored
40 games $400 ~ $10 a game
I worked one week in summer for my buddy putting in auto sprinklers at Beverly Golf Course
got $500…..paid for entire season, had money left over and still hadn’t even got a real job
Yowza- and this was 80’s
Amanda loves the 70s music.Led Zeppelin movie was great. Seeing concert footage at ear-splitting volume for someone who wasn’t yet born when they disbanded was awesome.

There's no such thing as too much....When to much gummy’s happen
