My concern is Vlasic. He had another giveaway up the middle in the 1st.
For the entire season= 3.45 giveaways/60
Last 10 games= 4.66 giveaways/60
Last 5 games= 5.24 giveaways/60

The trend is not our friend.

Yeah Vlasic has been pretty bad for a month or so now. I think some of that is a think the discussion around Crevier was a bit premature. He’s still really slow and has trouble exiting the zone. Vlasic is basically the one man exit

Could be anything, but if you're not conditioned for 25 minutes a night the mental mistakes go up as the season goes on.

I think people see pictures of him in the gym and think he's bigger than he is. I've met him twice now, he's 5'9" and in great shape, but he's not a physically strong guy out there compared to these other NHLers.

If McDavid were 5'9" he'd be a much less effective player too. I hate to say it but I think Bedard will be limited by his size until this team fills out with real talent. It would be the same if Kane was here by himself as a 19 year old trying to do everything on his own.

Vlasic has played over 1200 minutes this season so far. His ice time is up there with the big minute eating D across the league. (edit, dude is 13th in the league in top ice time as of today)
