Waffles eh?
I envy people that 'need' carbs to maintain their weight.Terrible diet. Strip this man of the captaincy
Yes. I ate bacon, eggs, sausage, toast, coffee and orange juice last week and then went out and shot -1.This is what shocks me about NHLers, Bacon and Waffles. Bruh. Do other sports athletes eat like this too ?
Lmao absolutely and much worse. This is what shocks me about NHLers, Bacon and Waffles. Bruh. Do other sports athletes eat like this too ?

Absolutely. For example, even narrowing down to just the NBA, and just addictions to candy and pop, there are tonnes:

- Caron Butler was legit addicted to Mountain Dew, to the point where he went through withdrawal symptoms when quitting: More on Caron Butler's extreme Mountain Dew addiction
These guys exercise so much that they can get away with it - bacon and waffles for breakfast is nothing.
The waffles are just for calories and carbs, but the rest is pretty healthy for an athlete. Bacon while high in salt, is a great source of protein. Eggs are lean protein and low calories.
It's actually a pretty good breakfast for an athlete. Carbs for the energy to go and do the morning work, and lots of protein.
100%, pretty common for athletes to balloon super fast once their career is over, if they can't rapidly change their eating habits. You ever see NFL players after their playing career is done just balloon up?
When you’re eating 7,000 calories a day but burning it all off, you might not ever learn how to eat like a normal person (non-athlete).
I went through this after own athletic career, and had to re-learn how to eat lol
Maybe, maybe not. I mean we're 2-0 and Matthews is the talk of the town but I haven't forgotten how poorly we played in game 1. But even if we'd have played like champs in both games, two games into the season is nothing and it won't be until the playoffs until we see if this is a different team or not. JMHO.In years past this is the kind of game the Leafs would lose. Tonight will be another sign to everyone that this is a different team. They will dominate this game from start to finish.
