Everyone applauded KD's signing last summer (minus the Brodie signing). Most of the problems this team is experiencing are related to vets not playing to expectation and poor coaching decisions. I don't see KD as being directly responsible for those issues.

KD and Sorensen absolutely deserve this for benching Reichel and expecting a different result for Mr. Minus machine 23. Reichel was even in the four periods before his benching. What is the message? Punish the guy for not making up for the eggs 98 is laying when he is only getting limited minutes to do it, and when his line isn’t the one digging a hole on most nights? Arbitrary like that is how you lose a room.
