Which team shows up tonight, the "Stankathon Tankathon" editión or the "We gonna make a little bit of noise" editión?

I just want a multiple point night from Bedard to get that point per game pace closer to 82 on the season. Last multiple point game for him was 1/08 against Colorado. He's due.
There's been an uptick on his line with Nazar/Bertuzzi in scoring chances. I myself would love to see at least a 60/40% in total possession time, SOG, & faceoffs won. But not necessarily in the Hawks favor against the Canes.

But not necessarily in the Hawks favor against the Canes.

Probably not, but it's certainly possible we get the backup goalie again and a relaxed effort from Carolina playing down to their opponent and taking the night off.

Regardless, being able to see Bedard and Nazar play together is reason enough to watch the Hawks for a good reason. It's refreshing.

Invisible is an interesting word but I get what you're saying. It just makes me think of Brodie and how 'visible' he is. I don't know if you guys remember Kimmo Timonen in the 2015 final against Tampa but every time he was on the ice, I got this feeling that something awful was about to happen.

I get the exact same feeling with Brodie.

I let out an audible groan about half the time I see Brodie on the ice for a shift.

I'm just so over him being here. He serves no role or purpose whatsoever combined with his atrocious play.

Just reading Kimmo Timonen's name gives me PTSD flashbacks.

I don’t mind Allan and EDM not playing every game. Yes, we want them to get experience, but they don’t need to be grinded down by playing every game. Rotating in and out, watching some games can be beneficial to development. Plus the vets help the tank cause.

More and more teams seem to be practicing load management for their young guys.

Vlasic’s a beast but he kinda looks tired lately. It’s a long season.

While I agree that an occasional game off is good for any hockey player to keep them fresh - Allan specifically is spending much more time in the pressbox than I'd like.

They'll probably waive Brodie next year, but just rotate around the scratches the rest of the year. Del Mastro probably goes back to AHL once Murphy is cleared.
