on its face Soda has struggled in 4 of the last 5 games at goalie. He had a pretty good shootout there and did 35/40 tonight with at least one of those goals not really his fault. the blues were just flying out there disrupting and causing havoc and the hawks still had plenty of chances to win the game. since 2017 it feels like opponents speed has been the Achilles heel of this team. they definitely need to practice penalty shots that was embarrassing.

I rate Bedard's shhot-out performance weakest of all the misses..Teuvo's goal inSO was brilliant.. all the others we sent sucked but Bedard's was awful..Weakest deleted ever..Why doesxa "generational shot" try dekibg instead of shootinh g? WHY do the Hawks cone in so slowly on tge SO.....skills not there either (Tt excepted).

Especially disapliintedvinBedard and Nazarxwhen no checkers to worry about.
As for tge game..Bedard realky stunk ..Had 3 good scoring chNcrsbin regulation.. blewxall of them...Misses the net with shot off the LW...had a chance to take puck to the net and release bit elected to takevit around the back of the net instead..by which time Blues adjust to positioning no shot on goal results...Had a 3rd chance fri the high dot (his RW side dot...but let go a very averagecshot easily stopped by Nimmington.


Brfard spent too mich time in own zone unable to get the puck..not covering properly..not getting pucksbput if he did get a opportunity.. was a bad game by Brdard.
Nothing more you can say..he stunk this game.
Of course not the only Hawk to stink....but at leastvyou hope for sobe offsetting offense and tge odd goal from Bedard's. Nope not tonight.

If they have a "sports psychologist" they need to fire that person and hire someone else. Same could be said of other leadership possibly behind the bench or around the team.

You can see the hesitation and second guessing all over the ice but Bedard might be the most obvious example. He creates all these amazing chances where he's right there and has ____ opened up but takes an extra millisecond instead of making the whole thing one motion.

lol at people mad about shootout order. It’s like the most quantifiable thing in hockey. If smith is going it’s because he’s the next best at it. It’s like a basketball coach lining up his guys in order of free throw %.
