This looks like a loss but tankathon win. As long as we play some meaningful hockey & don't come out lethargic it will be another small step forward in this long season. Play well Knight, Lev, & CB98.

These road games at the end of the season are often the most meaningful/memorable in the locker room, especially for the kids. Would imagine they’re coming from Utah also? Hope they have a good time.

I could care less about the tank anymore, leave that to the Shark Tank out in San Jose. I want to see some good hockey with our new #1 goalie, and welcome to the start of the Lev. era (even if only a short term call up). Tough team to start him out against though.

Hope its a high scoring game, want to see the young Hawks stuff the stat sheet.

Go Hawks!!!

With no more Jones and the new goalie, such a more positive vibe now.

That said Colorado will likely win in a blowout

so hyped for this game. Lev is going to get a up close and personal look at the best defensemen and forward in the NHL in his first game. I think he's going to surprise us.

Hoping Lev plays in this game. They may hold him out to have a skate or two with the team before playing against NHL opponents. Either way excited to see the 19yo play his 1st NHL game!

Damn, I was almost right with guessing D pairs. Felt Crevier should've stayed instead of Kaiser, but whatever.

As I said elsewhere, Martinez should be a great partner for Lev in his NHL debut. The exact type of vet you want him to learn from.

Kaiser has been playing well lately and they weren't going to sit Murphy. I don't love a Vlasic-Kaiser pairing against MacKinnon though.

Can’t say I agree with Kaiser on the right side.

At this point, I'm all for just trying sh*t and seeing what happens when it comes to players that might not be critical to the rebuild. But I also saw that Dickinson is coming back so I think they're gonna have so send someone down to keep the roster at 23.

Teams can go over the 23 man limit, post deadline, as long as they're cap compliant.

The logic makes sense to me - to have speed on that pairing. It’s not like there are great options here for Sorensen. Hope the hawks fair better than San Jose the other night, but I’m not counting on it.

With everyone healthy now, this is probably the strongest lineup they have iced all season. Line combos and pairings are iffy. My prediction: they lose 6-3.
