Has Florida got good return on that Bobrovsky investment or it's still not enough?

Not every contract has to be a home run.

Not to mention, he signed before COVID prevented cap inflation at the rate that was expected. We are now just seeing contracts start up go up again. That's not something Florida or any team could have reasonably planned for. If we were at a 100-110 million dollar cap right now, as we would have been without COVID, that contract ages very nicely.

Ultimately, they won a cup partly off the back of his play. You can't guarantee they would get that same level of goaltending from someone else had they not signed him. If you ask 100 Florida fans, I doubt any of them would risk erasing that signing id they could.

He was one of the key players in them winning the Cup. So absolutely the club got their money’s worth. The goal is to win the Cup, no?
Exactly this

He could be the worst goalie in the NHL but when you were a big part, arguably the biggest part, of winning a cup?

Worth it.
