Has Connor Bedard quietly became underrated ?

The kid is already close to a ppg player on an offensively inept team. He's doing just fine and imo is going to be atleast 90 point offensive player in this league.

Chicago is going to need to surround him with the right pieces but they have a couple intriguing young players/prospects and will get another this summer.

That's saying on a better team he would have roughly 30 more assists right now. You realize that puts him at the top of the leaderboard in points leaders with McKinnon, draisaitl and kucherov right? That's hyperbole and nothing more
Actually, not hyperbolic. Though I could have stated it better, the meaning was clear. Currently he has 68 assists in 116 games, for 48 per 82 games. If anything, I’ve underestimated his eventual assists ceiling.

I feel he's gonna be similar to Patrick Kane in his prime. A tier below the top echelon players but very good in his own right and someone who will rise to the occasion in the big games

90 point offensive player is a huge disappointment for Bedard projection
