I was trying to figure out if anyone has played in four World Junior Championships, anyone know?
There's a few. You might like that link.

If we count lower division's, Andrei Kostitsyn played in 5 WJCs.![]()
It's not as uncommon as you'd think. There are always good 16 year olds from lower countries who are good enough to make the WJC at 16 but not good enough for NHL at 19.
Baltisberger for the Swiss did it, his last being this year
Jay Bouwmeester was the youngest Canadian to ever play at the juniors at 16 years, 3 months.
Bobby Carpenter was named to the States team in 1979 at 15 years, 5 months.
Mutis Perkele was 15 when he played for Finland in 1980.
WHO?????????????I don't even...

Mutis Perkele was 15 when he played for Finland in 1980.
That last name is a Finnish swear word isn't it?
Yes, it's THE most Finnish swear word. It's not a name of a player for sure.
This is so going to become the new Dustin Rose on HFBoards.
That last name is a Finnish swear word isn't it?
Subban is pretty funny for us swedes too. Subba means b*tch and subban means the/that b*tch![]()
Perkele is an alternative name of Ukko, the chief god of the Finnish pagan pantheon. In modern Finnish, the interjection "perkele!" is a common profanity, approximately equivalent to "the Devil!" in meaning and the "f-word" in intensity.
It seems to me that the only players who ever get to play in 3-4+ WJC come from small eastern/central european countries. Kids like Mackinnon could have played in 3 but he has been locked up by the Avalanche for the last 2 years.
I want to say Ryan Ellis.
I agree, I would think the list of Canadians who have even played in three is not terrible long. Labour stoppages have allowed some like Crosby.
3
Crosby has only played in 2. His 2nd was the lockout year, he got drafted the year after and played in the NHL immediately after that.
Lol, perhaps I got it wrong. Let me try and find the source, maybe I grossly misspelled.
Edit: Not sure exactly where I got that name from. Quite a funny coincidence though ahaha
Seeing these kids playing at the WJC brought me to a really interesting question. How long until Japan's Aito Iguchi gets suited up for the tourney?
