Well teams always talk about having the same systems and structure in their ahl and nhl teams so players are ready to step in when brought up…sounds like the rangers are nailing that consistency defensively. Wouldn’t want to call someone up and have them show any remote signs of competence with puck decisions or awareness

Very disappointing that some of the young guys who have worked hard didn't get a call up yet. I hope it happens for Thursday.
Id give Roobroeck a game, along with Sykora and Laba. Roobroeck has earned it. Im a little shocked Belzile was never an NHL Regular. I always thought after he played with the Habs, he'd be a regular somewhere. Hope he resigns but can see him looking elsewhere. Good vet to have.

Laba, Dorington, and Aspinal cannot play this year, they're on ATOs (or is it PTOs). The first two start their contracts next year.
Garand, Roobroeck, Chlemar, and Sykora in that order should all play.

I was also impressed by Belzile when he was with the Habs. Maybe it was just him having his best games versus the rangers. But he seemed to have a great motor and some skill.
