The only one I see not in today’s lineup is Grouxl. I believe he’s with the big club.

Missed the pregame. Don’t know the reason. Checked the Wolf Pack website and their pregame notes. No mention of either player.

2-1 Hartford with 11:30 left in the 3rd.
Ruhwedel wins the game in OT. Good pass by Othmann after Othmann make bad turnover and Charlotte hits the post.
Domingue very strong in goal with Pack outshot 34-22. Even before the second Scanlin goal I thought he was very solid in the game. Berard and Othmann were fairly quiet.

Was at the game, saw someone come off early during warm-ups, looked a little sick maybe, but didn’t catch their number. Real nice move by Scanlin on 2nd goal.

Yeah, was hoping to see the OT goal, but nooooo.
Don’t recall which AHL team it was, but one time the highlights only had the home team’s goals.
Also, saw Othmann fall down pretty hard. Didn’t see if someone’s stick tripped him or if it was just a rut in the ice, but he was hurting and had a tough time getting back to the bench. Thought he was done, but he did come out for the OT.

I love Sykora’s style. With 11:50 left in the first and Charlotte on the PP, Scanlin doesn’t have a stick. Adam gives Scanlin his stick and attacks the Checker’s puck carrier by charging him with both his arms flailing(Sean Avery like smarts) I doubt it will make the highlights.

Great can't wait until we trade Sykora and Garand. Who needs a 20 and 22 year old who are being developed the right way?!
It appears that Garand has taken that next step now that he is the 1A.

Best game to date this season. Team drew 5 penalties through hustle and should have drawn more, but referee justice is what it is.

Definitely an enjoyable game. Bonus is that, down 3-0 late, the fans headed for the exits early and it was easy to get out of the parking lot.
That #16 for the Checkers stood out as real fast to me, but I don’t have the best eye for picking out talent.

Pack recall McCarthy(D) (AHL/Pack contract) from ECHL
Both Mackey and Harpur were out hurt yesterday

Anyone have a read on HC Grant Potulny? On paper seems he had a middling record with Northern Michigan.
14 regular players from last season are this season squad yet there is no continuity to this group.
They are playing a 1-3-1 but it isn’t working. Opposing teams are able to chip the puck in and Hartford now only has on man deep as the opposition is skating in the right direction they are able to setup easily. Then the Wolf Pack players are scrambling around chasing pucks.
Offensively they are trying a cycle attack which also is breaking down. No one is standing net-front.
Is the coach not up for the assignment? Are the players just not that talented or is it a combination of both?
