I think this has to be Hasek.

Lindros led the Flyers back to the playoffs and had a great season offensively and brought more than scoring, but he only finished five points ahead of Zhamnov in the scoring race. I think a forward needs a better season than that to beat peak Hasek.

This is closer than it seems at first glance, Lindros was the definition of an MVP type player and gets somewhat underrated in retrospect. But Hasek was on another level in the late 90s and will challenge to win the tournament. Lindros wasn’t quite THAT good, he was more of a mid-range Hart winner.

That's a great tip honestly, I had no idea what time was busiest so I never really considered it. Is it around the same time everyday? (I'd imagine it might be a bit different on weekends)

Lindros and Hasek is actually an interesting comparison. They were at their respective bests in the NHL around the same time....and almost everybody would rank Hasek higher currently. But back when they played, I bet almost everybody in the NHL would've taken Lindros over Hasek.

I'm not sure if I agree with that exactly.

First - they were at their best around the same time yes, but also slightly off. Lindros hit his peak around 95 (hart/ross). And yes - reputation/value he was definitely seen as higher than Hasek, with even more potential to go.

Hasek's prime/peak also started around 94 or 95, but I'd say it's not until 1997 and then 1998 where his reputation caught up to his performances, with the 2 hart wins, and the Olympics. I think by 97 or 98 - more people were taking Hasek above Lindros.

Went with Lindros but it’s a coin toss for me.

I’m surprised it’s so lopsided but Hasek was a god.
