Edstrom watching Rempe get his chance

Everyone was good tonight. Vesey has looked good with the wonder twins in spurts, i don’t mind playing him there. Clearly Lavi and the coaching staff want to see what different looks are available to them. It’s a nice option to have a guy with Roslovic skillset available if things get stale or an injury happens.

I also have absolutely no issue with how Rempe is being used. He doesn’t need to play every game or even big minutes, he’s there to provide energy and be a policeman. He should be in the lineup against the Islanders. Hell develop more practicing and playing in limited minutes with the NHL team than he will in the AHL.

He isn't ready for the NHL period.
Eh, let’s leave regular season aside (I don’t mind Rempe once in awhile to keep competition going).
If we’re talking playoffs I don’t see Laviolette taking chance with Rempe in the lineup unless it’s part of desperation moves. I actually wouldn’t mind trying Roslovic on the 4th line. He’s done nothing to prevent losing his spot next to Zibanejad.

I feel like the team feels this way as well. They have him in Hartford developing because they see a very useful player there. Rempe is getting his fifteen minutes of fame in low stakes games.
Ya now it's Ed's turn. Plus he has a better shot.

I can only assume the organization wants better players in the Hartford lineup while they fight for their playoff lives. It’s the only possible reason that I can think of for why Rempe is up with the big club over a vastly superior Edstrom.

I just finished watching the (English) MTL feed and their announcer was talking about Kreider passing Gilbert, except he pronounced 'Gilbert' like 'Gilbert Gottfried'. Dude, c'mon - you work for a French-Canadian franchise ffs.
had a question kinda about this: is camille the eels last name properly pronounced in the french or english way?
