Interesting and meaningless stat but, If we manage to win our next two we would be only a single point back of Winnipeg with the same GP, this despite them winning 14 of their first 15 games

The Jets are going to do what they do every year. Start red hot, then disintegrate down the stretch to the point of being an easy first round out.

I think they have all the fundamentals of being a team that is ripe for good starts. Good goaltending, good defensively, a generally hard working group. When everyone else gets their feet under them things even up quickly.

We're also well past Florida Panthers win % so don't have to hear anymore about how come that team never got the SC hangover.

Beat these hibernating Bruins. 7-2 Oilers. Marchant falls over and they can't put him back together again.

I'd pay money to see any of Emberson, Nurse, Ekholm, Pods to put the rat into the 3rd row.

Josh Brown has one job tonight then. Punch Zadorov in the face. And it’s a job well done.
Its actually better that he plays the whole game. Wouldn't want him to lose any toi.

Since the 3 game losing streak to start the year, Edmonton is tied for 2nd in the NHL for Points and Points per game. They are also 4th in the NHL in Goals For per Game and 4th for Goals Against per game.

It wasn't a hangover, it was just the typical slow start for Edmonton like almost every season and almost every playoff round.

But how else will Brown earn his contract?
He won't, so I've stopped thinking about that.
