Well if nothing else sweating it out never hurts - feel better soon my dude
Oh I won't be sweating lol physical activity isn't my thing. I'm a fragile being. 10 push ups every hour, from the knees of course cuz lord knows I couldn't do 'em all with proper form and full weight.

Steam is your friend as is a netti pot. I hope you feel better soon!
I’ve been taking some stupid long hot showers this week, and just blasting everything out of my nose during that time. It helps.

Almost got a Neti pot the other day but i am terrified to try. I have decided the next time i get an infection like this I’m trying onion water and a neti pot though.

I've never been good at push ups. Don't foresee that changing anytime soon lol

As long as you don't use onion water in the neti pot.

My problem with the neti pot is that you need to boil the water first, but then you have to wait like 20-30 minutes for it to cool down or you'll burn a hole straight through your nose lining like you're Stevie Nicks in the late 70s.

Sometimes I just put in straight warm tap water because I'm too lazy to do it right, especially when you're sick.

Yeah. Because boiling some water and waiting 20 minutes can be a real bitch.

No you don't. You get some distilled water, put it in a coffee mug and nuke it for under a minute in the micro. Let it cool slightly then add your saline packet, mix and pour into the pot.

If you have the squeeze bottle you do the same thing only you shake the bottle to mix.

Never use tap water period.

I tried a sinus rinse once, had a panic feeling like I was drowning and blew it all over the mirror, never again. It was not a Neti pot though
Did you have a squeeze bottle? That is what I use. Takes some practice or you will get that drowning feeling or pop your ears. A light squeeze will force the solution up and it will come out of your mouth.

I do my rinses before I brush my teeth for this reason. They have saved me from needing antibiotics more times than I can count.

I use this brand

We are getting lots of snow, the squall is coming off the lake right over us. We got hubby a John Deere tractor for snow blowing and grass cutting, so he is happy to go out and play with the snow! The tractor's name is "Basil", but hopefully he won't have to thrash him with a tree branch ;)

Had my annual eye exam today and got to have the new eye scan done that replaces dilation. Seeing what my eye looks like was fascinating. All is good but I'm definitely heading down the progressive lens route.

Ahhhh, the first day back after a week and a half worth of vacation.

Always a joy. *bangs head through wall*
Brutal. I worked Monday and Tuesday last week, then had the kids over Wednesday through Sunday morning. My internal clock was totally off. Worked Monday and Tuesday this week, had yesterday off but didn't have the kids around. Working today and tomorrow, kids are here. My internal clock has once again been completely reversed.

The dead rising from the grave. Human sacrifice. Dogs and cats living together. Mass hysteria!

Have used a Neti pot
Tap water as we have a well
Warm water

If its too cold it really hurts... imagine too hot would also

I can't say it flushed out a bunch of gunk, but it does feel better

Dr told me to use it since I worked around dusty areas

I've had that done for years. Originally Optomap although there are other brands now, I think. Well worth the extra cost. The doctor can compare images year to year and see any new issues. Whoever invented that thing is a genius.

Plus, I hate having my eyes dilated so that's a bonus.

I swear by Oil of Oregano. Take a look, I use the drops under my tongue but not everyone can tolerate taking it that way. Capsules are available too. It stops a cold in its tracks for me.

Edit to add: Joy of the Mountains is an excellent source.
