Happy Father’s Day to all the great HF dads from old (@Gee Wally) to new (@NeelyDan)! Have a great day!!

My own wonderful wanderlust Daddy has apparently wandered off to Moose Jaw Canada according to my sister’s tracker! He likes to drive cross country a couple times a year (at 83!). At least I’m not in the back seat with my sibs any more!!

My Dad left this earth in 2003 from Alzheimer's.

Spend time with them, ask them about their life...while you can.

My father passed away 24 yrs ago due to Liver cancer, he was in the military in the Pacific in the mid 40's. That was when the US was testing chemical warfare on their own troops about 60,000 or so. It's the truth!.
He was filming during the Battle of Midway, which some of that footage was added to the original film Midway!
Also the truth!
Last but not least, he was also at the launch of the Challenger, filming that as well, we all know what happened.
There is another true story there, but I have said enough! I miss him dearly!

Thanks @sooshii . Thanks as well to all the dad’s (and moms!) who have given me advice along the way of my journey so far - fingers crossed that after a month in the neonatal intensive care unit that my boy will finally be coming home next week

Lost my father in-law at 55 to Cancer

Shortly after this photo was taken.

Scary to think I'm my Dad's age now and beat Cancer, at least for now!

I do want to say I would not be the man I am today without my amazing wife of 40 years.
