And they are top 30 defenseman already. Hanifin certainly isn’t.

He was on the 3rd best pairing defensively in the league last year and put up 50 points not playing on the top PP. Only 1 other defenseman in the league did that.

Hanifin used to be overrated. He's very underrated now.

Lol ok so a 1st pairing 2-way 50 point defenseman who put up some of the best 5v5 metrics in the league the last 2 seasons with 2 different defense partners isn't a top 30 defenseman? I'm very curious who you have ranked in front of him because the way you are wording it makes it seem like he's not even top 50 to you

If the Flyers are trading Provorov it should be for picks and or prospects as they begin to blow up the roster. Not for another player who isn't good enough to be an absolute difference maker ( Provorov isn't worth one of those) and will just keep us treading the waters of mediocrity for another 5 years.

If Chuck Flercher is trading Provorov, set your sights much lower than Hanifin. Think a much more limited skill set, likely 3rd pairing ceiling, and absolutely must be from Minnesota. I dont know who fits the bill, but thats what Fletcher wants.
