Hamilton Bulldogs vs. Lake Erie Monsters

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server

I missed the 2nd period but I just think Lake Erie's playing real well.

Has there even been a time in hockey history where really aggressive forechecking doesn't pay off?

Lake Erie's just too good tonight. They're playing playoff hockey.

Nobody mentions but the Dogs at least play with heart. They're always hustling.

its a shame. Gallagher, Leblanc and Bournival were buzzing quite a bit this game, but just couldnt cash or make that extra pass to cash

was it just me or was Lake Erie getting away with quite a bit in that third period?

They got away with quite a bit in general, not just in the third. There were a few pretty obvious tripping calls that went unpunished and that late hit on quailer somehow ended up with the dogs taking an extra penalty. How? No idea.

Didn't really affect the outcome of the game, but took some of the fun out of it.

Man, the Dogs suck this year. They have no offense. But hey at least there is a bunch of young player learning their trade this year.

At least Hagel knows his role, he's got 11 fights in 23 games and only 68 PIM. 55/68 PIMs are from fights...don't bother looking at Stortini's haha.

The offense is just not in the AHL right now. You just add a Kristo and the PP looks automatically better. But again, the team should have added a few AHL vets. The missed the boat there and I have no idea why. Just like I knew they'd needed some vet presence on D and they get it way too late in the season.
