99% of the time it's already "made" thanks to butchers and such.

I think the name implies that this gunk is supposed to "help" the hamburger taste better. Which it does not.

Heck, just put some BBQ sauce or ketchup on your loose hamburger meat. It might be ghetto as **** but it'll still taste better than that ****.

It's a guilty pleasure of mine from time to time. Add sautéed onions, mushrooms, peas and even some chili powder to the mix if you like.

I will say this though, hamburger helper leftovers don't keep well. The noodles tend to turn to mush and the stuff can congeal into a brick as well

The little brother of a friend of mine in high school used to eat just mayo and mustard sandwiches on white wonderbread. So I guess what I'm saying that's some people like to eat gross things and that's ok.
