nope only 2 games on Tonight Kings VS Leafs, Nashville@ Vancouver
It’s the ESPN Hockey Night game and it’s a 5 pm start for Kings fans. Which is nice if you're 25 and getting off work and heading to bar.…..and ask the barkeep to turn on the game ……not that I every did that when I was out there.

Can't wait for all the Christmas decorations and songs to start tomorrow
They already have started.

A bunch of stores have trees and Christmas lights out too.

I do love Christmas time and I put up the lights before it's freezing but never on until after remembrance day at the earliest.

Anyone know why this game is starting at 8 pm? It just seems weird, but I assume it has something to do with Halloween.

"The Maple Leafs will host the Los Angeles Kings with the broadcast beginning at 8 p.m. ET as ESPN's main network televised the game nationally.

It's something the network usually pulls as a rightsholder for their national broadcasts occasionally. The game will also allow them to draw more of a Kings' audience that would be able to watch the game at 5 p.m. locally instead of 4 p.m.

8 pm start so Mitchy and Mrs. Mitchy can go trick and treating. It was part of prenup so they can practice for when little ones come along.😁

Interesting. To me, it makes sense to schedule a start time that works best for the fans actually attending the game in person. But from a business perspective, I get it.

Before CHCH, CFTO had the mid-week games (always Wednesdays).
It's crazt to think about how little sports we used to be able to watch.

Jays and Leafs twice a week. 2 NFL games per week. No internet so if a game ended late the final score wouldn't even make the daily paper.

No Sports Radio 24/7.

How did I manage?

I remember in the 1980s my dad got us a big 10 foot satellite dish, it had all kinds of hockey feeds, seen lots of games, sure nothing like today, but back than I was in hockey paradise lol

Kings are the highest scoring team in the NHL. Coming back from a 5 game road trip this game has me a little nervous
