Hall was carrying us in the first round until Jim's stupid line changes after Bergeron came back.

Good guy, I'll miss him. But if it allows us to re-sign Bertuzzi then I'm okay with it.

An essential move if they want to sign Bertuzzi.

I had no real issues with Hall but aside from that brief stretch paired with Krejci when he first got here he's rarely dominated and driven a line. They tried him several times filling in on top lines but he always ended back on line 3 and didn't dominate there either.

If your line is Hall/Bertuzzi - Zacha - Pasta, Bertuzzi was and is the better fit to make that line work. Somebody has to go and Hall is the likely candidate.

If we get a pick(s) for Hall and add Bertuzzi it's a win.

Betuzzi 29 in Feb, never healthy for a long period of time and not worth 6-8 years. Keep Hall his final 2 years and start the rebuild in '25.

You were done w Hall at 33, now they would have Bertuzzi to 35 min? Hard pass.
