I don't agree with either Draisatl or Mackinnon

I'm sorry but if your teammate is Connor "Best player in the World" McDavid or Mikko "Top 10 in points" Rantanen and Cale "Highest scoring defenseman" Makar, you ain't the most crucial/important player for its own team

Hughes is basically leading a dysfunctional team by himself and should win it, unless Vancouver f*** up and miss the playoffs

If it happens, Kaprizov, Werenski and Hellebuyck should be looked at

If I had to pick a D, I would take Werenski over Hughes this season...he has Columbus put in a playoff spot...his supporting cast is much worse...this takes nothing away from Hughes who is great on his own and deserves consideration.
