Segal is more like Asham so it makes sense to me for a 1 game sub in. or Bickel plays and Segal just spares. I dont think Bickel has played F in camp though so I am going to guess for 1 game its Segal.

also means they have no interest in waiver players like Nodl

Segal is a ok role player but horrible at fighting, always falls down or gets taken down.. alot like Voros... Voros was ok just brutal at fighting although he did have some grit and stuck up for teammates.

i dont understand why they couldnt call up JT Miller even if it just for a few games.. i mean when Callahan got called up for the first time in his career, he played a few games and got sent down.. that really isnt rushing a player... id rather have him learn a few things than have a player who has no future as a Ranger. if Segal is in the Rangers organization for more than 2 years ill be shocked.. he is a bubble player.

Because it's for one game. Why would they shuffle JT Miller all over the place to play extremely limited fourth line minutes in one game? He's not getting called up unless they think he's actually ready.
