Hagens is much better defensively than Hughes. (Which is why I don't love the Hughes comparison.)

What is the case for Martone over Hagens? I've only seen a few games of each but Hagens is the better skater, plays centre, seems smarter, pays more attention on defence. Martone is bigger.

You made the argument. He’s bigger. More physical. Aside from that, the advantages tend to go in Hagens direction. But some feel the size and physicality advantage is enough.
