Top line wasn't good enough.
I thought that was Samberg's best game.
Morrissey looked iffy all game, just bleeding chances against.
Lowry line felt like they generated a lot but nothing overly high quality. I don't really feel like that line plays as big in front of the net as they probably should.
Felt like there was a narrative against the 2nd line in the GDT tonight. They were fine, they generated some high quality chances and didn't really cause many against.
Schmidt had a solid game. Basically like Lowry's line though, generated a lot but nothing high quality.

Well the Jets won 7 of 8 points in their last 4 games, so not that bad at all. They should have won this game, and outplayed the Habs, but Allen was great in goal for Montreal. Also the Jets big guns, did nothing.

Worst team in the league on the road against the best team in the league still has a 20-ish percent chance to win. Any Given Saturday factor very strong in hockey.

People would be losing their minds if Lowry took a shootout shot ahead of several players, he is pretty good at shootouts but not 3rd shooter good.
Terrible special teams and bad tending let us down tonight.

All the small narratives aside that's the story of the game for me.
PK sucks and so does the PP. Something has to change.

Last 2 mins in the game you have PP and you can’t score … don’t expect to win.
Lowry scored on penalty shot … why not use him in shootout.
Jets need someone who can stand in front of the net on PP.
LB was very shaky … im shocked the Habs only scored one in shootout.

There will be these types of games, where you were the better team and lose. If it goes that way it is nice to get the loser point. Come the end of the season we will be in the playoffs and the Habs won't be, so there is that.
Speaking of Wheeler he's going to be playing his 8 to 10 game minutes in a game starting right now on yet another Citytv feed...

Yeah, we've seen it in this game. Also, it shouldn't have been a decision based on skill but based on mental aspects.
