The best thing about this win is that we didn’t get lucky they weren’t goalied we had the most and best chances and had the edge for most of the game, their physical play isn’t slowing us down.
Any idea on Monty’s health situation?
I'm a fan of Patrik's. But any time fans talk about the atmosphere of a North American hockey building, it's almost like he gets offended and wants to talk about the European crowds.
We know those fans are amazing. But can you just let people enjoy what a Bell Centre or a T-Mobile Arena brings for energy? It's almost like an inferiority complex he has.
Not to mention, European players have played in both Europe and Montreal, and they always say they've never experienced anything like the Bell Centre. Both Habs players and opponents.
So let it rest man.

lol it's incredible how we play at home and we have three quarters of the lineup have incredible games yet people still credit Xhekaj for 100% of the win. Get
Added to the fact that according to Marc Denis , Monty deliberately played through the injury after advising Dobes so he could have time to warmup. WowWhat a teammate Monty is. Guy is playing the best hockey of his career, gets injured. And the first thing he does is congratulate Dobes with a big smile on his face because he's happy for the kid.
I feel we were truly dominant all game at home. Washington never was in theirs. There’s A LOT. Of dog in this team. I love it!We've been more dominant in our barn then they've been in theirs. Stay dominant at home and all we need is to take one of four games in Washington.
Adding to this, Thompson looks to be out for the rest of the series and I much prefer either Monty or Dobes over Lindgren.
Agreed. His spot when all is said and done will be 3rd line wing with a lot of PK and checking duties. He has an insane motor and a lot to handle when he’s on you. Just doesn’t have the vision and hands for centerNewhook actually looks like a decent third liner on the wing too. Guy is a f***ing plug at center.
And to think all these kids are still a few years away from their prime is incredible.I still can't believe that game was real last night
That new PP formation just sealed Laines fate with us unfortunately
And I hate to make it sound like this lol but for those who thought Xhekaj couldn't help us in a playoff series like this.. come on guys lol
Even tho he DID lead to a goal against lol
You can still pull off the win with the energy he brought to the club
Anderson. I love you dude. You ain't going nowhere for these 2 years left

That's a credit to Ottawa in my opinion. They have also turned the corner.A winning coach will do that eh..........they will be tough.
That said, the last two games have hit OT. The Sens could be up 2-1
It needs a lot of rigorous massages then. I know a place.No. But I'm thinking it's the groin.
So Hughes and his crew cannot tell a winger from center? That's two "big" acquisitions now... Dach and Newhook.Agreed. Looks like the hamstring from just watching some highlights.No. But I'm thinking it's the groin.
I don't think Newhook was acquired to play center though. So Hughes and his crew cannot tell a winger from center? That's two "big" acquisitions now... Dach and Newhook.
SighAndy has cemented himself as part of the vet core.
Shoutout to an unsung hero : Dvorak (he's quietly having a solid year).
