I don't think goaltending is an issue for Habs at all. Montembault is at least league average quality. Dobes has looked fantastic so far and we have fowler in the wings. I think Habs are more than fine in that department.Probably Ottawa, they have the more impressive core right now and are the safer bet.
Montreal looks good but still far too many question marks (Goaltending, defence and depth up the middle of the ice) and it’s never smart to hedge your bets on “potential” their only high end prospect left after Hutson has graduated from prospect status is Demidov.
Habs also have a demidov. He will be best player on both teams when he pulls up. That's a big difference maker and sets the Habs apart in my opinion especially considering how close both teams seem to be.
