If he continues this into next season, plus is a leader figure on this team, his contract is more than worth it.

That contract will never be worth it. Let's not kid ourselves. He's playing very well right now, no doubt about it, but I'd go ahead and trade him at the deadline if he can bring back something of value and let some other team deal with his ups and downs.

So many of our young players aren't even close to their peak. Playing the young guys a lot bodes well for the future no matter how this season has turned out.

That would be a very, very BIG "IF"! His play in the last few years has been poor, given the $$$ he is earning.

These last two periods are making me forget a large portion of our sucky season. All it takes is to dominate the Habs and I'm all good.

These last 20 minutes are going to be the toughest for the Sens. They really have to bare down and focus to win this thing. But it's definitely doable.

Just keep breathing.

I agree, so out with the old declining vets and in with the young prospects!

It helps that Montreal is down to four defensemen. They are going to tire out and hopefully make some mistakes.

Subban is a huge loss for them as he eats a LOT of minutes.

It's the best that pageau almost never Scores, but does so much on Montreal.

This what Michalek looks like when coaches work to make him part of a line, rather than a filler on whatever line needs a player.

Solid player for us, and his scoring since the coaching change shows that he still has game, he just needs what all the other forwards need, chemistry with linemates. His great two-way play has unfortunately meant that he has been out versatile line filler for most of McLean's time here.

Hope so, but we can't count on fatigue. Guys still have to play their best 20 of the season coming up. Both teams playing desperate hockey.

Gonna be crazy.

Breathe.
