In the roughly 8 mins Carey was on the ice, we didn't register a single shot attempt by the entire team.

Boro and Jaros got caved in possession wise playing against Gallagher.

Boro had a terrible game oh man.

Our finish tonight was comical.

The fact that we bobbled the puck and made a thousand mistakes yet still won shows just how terrible Montreal was tonight.

Montreal was horrific. Tiereny Stone and Boedker were our best forwards. Jaros and Chabot were phenomenal and best players on the ice which is why we won, they were difference makers back-end and shifted the game in our favor. Chabot was an animal. Demelo with another quietly good game.

My friend was watching hockey with me for the first time in his life and he said Anderson looks like a goalie who has completely given up and is completely nonchalant. What is wrong with Anderson? There's no fight to his game whatsoever.

Also, Ryan was absolutely atrocious on the 2nd and 3rd goals. Atrocious. Peewee level hockey. And before that PP assist he bobbled the puck 3-4 times and we lost possession solely cause of him. He is baffling.

Lmao, Jaros played a better game tonight than Ceci has in a year.

Disagree about Andy. Wasn't his best game but he was good enough. He also pretty much stole the last two games so not great timing calling him nonchalant.

100% agree about Ryan though. He's mostly atrocious.

Dude. Goalies are not normal people.

I have sat next to the bench many times over the years. Anderson never shows anything. Very rarely he shows some anger.

one of those goals was on Duchene for missing his man and Boedker not covering his in front of the net. Either of them could have prevented that goal

What i love about this team is that everybody plays a role, and they always play the same way no matter what the score is. they seem to be a close knit group and they play with passion. Mark Stone has to be our next captain. thats guy shows so much passion. love him!

Jaros was far from phenomenal. I'd rate the D in this order tonight:

Chabot
Lajoie
DeMelo
Boro
Jaros
Wideman
Harpur

I give credit where credit is due he was terrific against Dallas and 3rd period vs LA but he's had moments this year which ive never seen from Andy; body language wise.

They were really the reason why we won. They locked down the defense and were absolutely brilliant stripping the puck and feeding the forwards who bobbled almost every pass except the few times we scored.

I also really really liked whites game.

When White got his points on Boedker's goal, I knew he would start to dominate.

It has been a patern this year. When he get a points, he seems to get a confidence boost. Boucher saw it and Duchene and White played together at that point.

I also liked the little skirmish in OT with Kotkaniemi. You knew he was in his game.

Jaros made a few nice paces on the night, but that's it imo. He and Boro had a rough time containing the Gallagher line.

Wow, what a great game! If anyone actually abandoned this team, I feel bad for them. We are not what we once were but goddam am I grateful that I spent my childhood with a professional hockey team in my backyard.

His post was a clear exaggeration but if Dzingel had better hands he would be such a threat. He's fast, strong, and positions himself pretty well offensively but he doesn't really have the ability to make high-skill plays against NHL DMen. He can make medium-skill plays at a high speed, which is a large part of what makes him dangerous, but his puck skills are quite average imo.
Well yeah. If he had better hands he would be a different player lmao. He is what he is. Ideally second line winger.

Well, if your friend who has never watched hockey said so, he must be right :sarcasm:.

Ryan was terrible on the 2nd goal in particular - I was watching him all play and I was waiting for him to fill a lane or engage with a body and he just.... didn't.

What is your point, exactly? We're talking about a players strengths and weaknesses. I like Dzingel just fine but I agree that his hands are a weak point of his toolkit.
