Bournival is sitting for Parros, he probably needs some rest after that hit to the head he received Thursday vs the Bruins.

Parros can come in handy vs a team like the Sabres who have quite a few tough guys. Hopefully he can keep them in line.

Should be an easy win the the boys. I'd like to see Galchenyuk and Gallagher score a couple goals and Price get a shutout.

3-0 Habs

Sad to see bournival get sat, but it's not the end of the world. He played great against Boston thoygh. Quickly becoming a really interesting young player. Nice to see a new rookie for us to fawn over, nice to have two years in a row where we see guys earn a roster spot. Very encouraging to see more prospects developing well. Hope some of our D prospects blossom soon

Edit: also I predict a solid win

4-1 habs
Subban
Gallagher
Gionta
Prust

Guys, the lines from practice were

John Lu ‏@JohnLuTSNMtl 42m

#Habs lines vs. Buffalo:
Bournival - Plekanec - Gionta
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Gallagher
Galchenyuk - Eller - Brière
Moen - Prust - Parros

Looks like White is out.

As much as I think White has improved this year and deserves to play, this is a nice line up.

Any word on D?

Habs can dress Parros to keep Scott in check. Scott is I believe the most useless player in the league. Good on him to be seen as a value to someone.

Briere with Chucky and Eller is interesting. I could see Briere and Chucky playmaking off eachother while Eller works the boards and carries the puck. Nice to see Bourni back with Pleks and Gio too.

Would rather have White than Parros, but I guess someone is going to have to waste their time fighting Scott. Buffalo deserves to suck as long as they employ that guy.

Otherwise I like it, not sure about Briere fitting in there but those two needed someone more offensively capable to play with. Lots of skill on that line.

Many of you are predicting an easy win tonight. If that is the feeling in the locker room, they'll lose.

However, the win VS Boston tells me that this team truly has character and that the coaches will not let them fall in the trap of underestimating an opponent.

I predict a win, nonetheless.

Man you just gotta respect the dude. I wonder how many of the internet tough guys here could just go on with their day knowing you gotta trade punches with a 6'7 260 pound man in a couple of hours.

Can he even be considered a mere man?

I hope they continue to play a strong team game. I worry with these lower ranked teams, it seems the Habs never get up for them. Need to keep getting the W's though, especially with Pitts and Bos playing each other.

well if the new goal is to stay in 1st and keep ahead of Boston then we should have all the motivation we need. By listening to PK talk after the last game, it sounds like the habs believe in themselves and hold each other accountable game in and game out.

I've worked as and with many bouncers and security guys who have had to deal with far more dangerous circumstances than a one on one bare knuckle wrestling contest. And while the pay is decent enough, they would all love the chance to rise to parros' paygrade

And trust, you work in a cubicle long enough, you start longing for the head punches :sarcasm:

No easy games. Only easy day was yesterday.
