Just my opinion on it, but I think they are saying....here's two NHL'ers Big Mac, let's see what you got. Great opportunity for him. I'd love to see him make the big squad.

If Galchenyuk is the player that most people think he is, then it doesn't really matter who he plays with and should have an impact on the game anyways.

I'm pretty sure that 90% of HF think that Galchenyuk is a center and plays best at center not with 4th line grinders.

How so? That 1st line looks awesome
And Galchenyuk is playing with arguably the 2 better players in the rest of the lineup for tonight's game.

I love how every decision they make is to see Alex fail, but we never see Alex step up and be the player we all thought he would.

I would like to see that personally, show us what you can do and elevate McCaron's game for a change.

Seriously question why is it that it's Galchenyuk that has to prove that he can carry his linemates. Let's forget about the fact that he's only making 4.9M/yr which is barely more than Alzner and Shaw but Chucky is a 5 year veteran of the team and already scored 30 goals. Why is it that he's once again being passed over for Drouin? Isn't it Drouin that should be proving that he's better than Galchenyuk before taking his spot? Desharnais, Danault, Drouin, JDLR, McCarron... all examples of players that have gotten opportunities at center ahead of Galchenyuk.

Yep. Definatley in their best interest to see him fail. Now replace galchenyuk with hudon, hudon would make those players better. Can galchenyuk do the same?

Hudon has never played more than 3 games in a season. Let's see what he does over a full 82 game season instead of some meaningless preseason games before commenting. Unless you think Hudon will score 30 goals this season.

No one in the league can match Bergevin's skill at destroying the value of a player. It's definitely his forte.
