His stick got accidentally caught between the Florida player during the scrum on the draw. But instead of removing it from that area, he tried to play the puck and naturally the Floeida player tried to move and fell on Evans' stick. Evan's has to have the presence of mind to move his stick out of that area even though he didn't put it there in the first place, before trying to play the puck.
