If Gallagher wants to stay useful he has to do the two things he's done so far tonight - disrupt the opponent and draw penalties. If he does that enough he'll chip in some goals but obviously he'll never live up to that contract

Well, after going down 7-0 in shots in the first 6 minutes, Montreal outshot Colorado 15-9 rest of way. Game became pretty even.

A lot of giveaways by Avs in their own zone.

Avs have the more dangerous offense, so I still expect them to win. At least Montreal is being competitive again.
 
There's a noticeable difference in the DNA of this franchise. Maybe it's that any improvement on the dinosaurs of years past is a pretty big positive shift in terms of how this franchise is run. MSL is here to bring that change about, and I can see another coach reap the rewards after MSL gets "promoted" (ie fired like all coaches) a few years from now
