I seem to recall remarking on Savard's stellar play in the second game of B2B. :sarcasm:
Hopefully he doesn't continue it or we might have to play Carrier and Guhle 22-24 minutes each.
I'd certainly give X a few more shifts paired with either.

I honestly thought they sat Dach last game.
I never heard his name once...granted I was building Ikea shelves so only was half watching.

Damn it just saw that the game tonight is on the NHL Network which I don't have because I refuse to pay for cable.
I had to watch last night's game via "alternate means" due to it being on Fan Duel Sports Detroit, so it's blacked out here in SE Michigan on ESPN+, which I pay for. I'll have to do the same this evening. Don't have either FDS or the NHL Network via our YouTube TV subscription.

Going to go the the game tonight any food suggestion? I will try to wear a hfboards shirt
Yup stuff yourself with your favorites before you get there.

Heineman is now 7th in rookie points? Nice. He's also tied for 3rd in rookie goals.
Where is he at for rookie ice time? :skeptic:

It's a back to back against the same team? Cannot remember the last time that happened.
Against Detroit at the end of last season.

BTW on the PP tonight, why not use CC on the second unit? We would have two weapons on the left side on two units.
Having Caufield being a threat on the other side is what gives Hutson the opportunity to make all these sweet feeds to Laine. He would be rushed otherwise

The opposition has to respect a premier scorer like Caufield

Caufield is as threatening on the right side because he is shooting right. The angles to the net are totally different.

Savard is actually playing quite well, compared what I remembered from CBJ.
