It's Slaffy too heavy? I see he's weighing in at 238

wow 6’4+ and 238,? Plus he’s as skinny as a rail. This kid is going to be a load in a couple of years. He’s bigger than J Jagr was when he can into the league. I met JJ once and he was one of the biggest hockey players I’ve ever met....he was like 3 feet thick & 6’3.

No way Slaf is to heavy, hell, he still has baby fat to wear off, lol.
Cheers

man that Mailloux injury is taking forever is it the same one from the fight? thats someone i really want to see play and needs to play

It is the same shoulder injury. He had surgery on it so. Recovery time for shoulder surgeries could take several months, which tracks.

His last game was on March 6th (the one he got hurt in). Grant McCagg had sent out a tweet on April 20th saying that Mailloux had surgery the week before that. So it was a month between his last game and his surgery.

At Development camp in July (3 months after surgery), he was able to skate and train, but wasn't able to participate with the team. This time (5 months after surgery), he might be able to skate and practice with the team (though surely non-contact).

People talk about Hutson...but Mesar and his 5'9'' even tough is a forward....is a stretch too. I understand the pure talent and all. But don't understand how Kulich wasn't the pick there. Mesar with that size has to be SIGNIFICANTLY better in their eyes. I guess we'll see.

He got a shoulder surgery, it’s a long process with the rehab, getting back the strength in the shoulder and THEN practicing with contact, etc…

5’9- 5’10 at 181 pounds… it’s solid.

Solid but still uncommon in this league. Yes, there are great players in there, like Marchand, Gaudreau, DeBrincat, Arvidsson, Marchessault, Atkinson...and a few others. So it can be done. Just saying, it's not the norm. Again, they must trust the talent level. So at this point, I,ll trust it too.

I remember reading Kulich bombed in interviews like Wright and Lambert.

Interesting list. For some reason, I'm sad to see Mesar lost an inch and some pounds. I was hoping for the opposite to happen. On the other hand, glad to see Norlinder went from 5'11 185 to 6'1 195 now and Heineman at 6'2 194, I was also pleasantly surprised. As far as Slaf is concerned, I'll wait and see what he looks like on the ice.

I haven't been this enthusiast about our group of prospects since I've started watching our team to be quite honest. Let's hope we can get Fantilli or a great C in this generational draft, that would be the icing on the cake.

Ya shoulder surgery is usually 6 months. Means he’s about a month away and hopefully won’t miss much of the season.

My god Jackeye look HUGE!!!! This guy is becoming one of my favorite prospect, so much swagggggg :)
Will be interesting to see if he’s one of those guys who steps into the league and challenges NHL heavyweights aka Lucic. Those guys are pretty rare.
