Murray is the only player who can go toe to toe with anyone in Boston's line up.

Nope. Murray's fighting skills are so overated... he's gonna get killed by Lucic or Thornton if he goes at it against them.

Montreal Canadien fans should enjoy watching the play of Hudon, Leblanc and Thomas. The BabyHabs were a treat to watch last night, they were playing "Firewagon Hockey" again and Buffalo had their hands full keeping up with them. :handclap:

Tonight should be more of the same, so I'll be sitting in front of the TV set a half hour before puck drop. It's a real eye-opener watching the depth of the Habs prospects, playing so well even though it's pre-season games.

The bashing Bouillon gets on these boards is hilarious. He's still a capable defenseman and is not nearly as bad as you guys make him out to be. Corsi all the **** you want, he didn't make nearly enough mistakes to make him deserve the bashing he gets here.

Huge Bouillon fan but IMO Tinordi should have his spot, but MT will ride Cubes no matter what.

Which is still better than Diaz-Nygren yesterday.

You'll see guys defending Diaz though for the horror of yesterday, where he wasn't even one of our top-4 d-men in a lineup filled with minor leaguers.

Just watch all the **** Bouillon or Murray takes tonight though if they're on the ice for one goal against.

He's a below average d-man that's our #6 (shouldn't be higher, and could arguably be placed lower).

He also tends to score on his own net a fair amount and isn't that great in the defensive zone.

He doesn't necessarily deserve to be bashed, but his play does not warrant many compliments due to his relatively poor play.

He makes a lot of mistakes on the ice as well, but that's to be expected from a declining NHLer that's in the twilight of his career.

Ditto.
Bouillon will have Diaz (probably not) or Drewiske(probably) though.

Did anyone actually think Diaz was anything but horrible though? I mean at least Nygren had an excuse.

Bouillon and Murray are both useful bottom pairing defenders, it's overuse or even worse, them together that terrifies me. This team is packed to the brim with 6th and 7th defenders.

Very excited to see what hudon looks like, also tinordi being in again is a clear indication therrien is thinking about having him here this year.

That's far from being as bad as you guys say. He's not any worst than Diaz for the number of mistake he makes. And I'd rather a d-man who mistakingly scores in his own net in a win, than a guy that almost gets one of his teammates killed with yet another one of his soft, stupid passes.

Bouillon gets bashed a LOT around here. To me, he's your normal 6th d-man. Him and Murray aren't any more of a pain to watch than most of the 3rd pairings in this league. Even though I wouldn't mind Pateryn to be on the 3rd pairing instead of Bouillon.
