Our lack of top 6 firepower is what killed us. You can play the blame game all you want, but the guys on the roster did what they could, we weren't good enough.

MP is fine. People want him to be a power forward, but if he played like this he'd be injured alot. What do you expect when he's forced to babysit DD all season and now stuck with Plek? The guy deserves to play with a legit center at some point.

He's not fine. Is equally as useless as DD. Does not skate, does not forecheck, barely fights for position, has 1 board battle a game.

He is the Habs version of Phil Kessel. Do you want Phil Kessel on this team?

Shades of Philly a few years back. Can't ****ing buy a goal for lack of bounces or lack of scoring talent.

I hope, even though I know this won't be the case.. that this is the last I see of PAP, DD, Therrien and staff (Waite aside).

Also: Markov, Emelin and Plekanec traded for the right price.

I mean to be fair that's being disingenuous. Price has been injured every playoffs since then and we didn't make it in 2012.
Why is it disengenious? He got knocked out when we were on the verge of tying the series with Ottawa. And he got knocked out against the Rags. Those aren't losses man.

Therrien's system is shining brightly today. The players threw his system away to win game 4 and 5 and somehow Therrien says there was no change to the system.

Guy is a moron for believing he made them win those 2 games. No idea why the players decided to revert back to Therrien's system. Maybe they are morons like the rest of the coaching staff.

Right because TB's "system" has outplayed us every game? You've obviously been sleeping all series.

No system can win you games if your best players are not sharp...Price Subban Pacioretty all having off nights.

Now i sit back and enjoy a really good period of hockey. Whatever happens at this point, I don't think we had the team to win it all. One day, one year, it's gonna happen.

MT, play Galchenyuk at center, put Eller in top 6. Try something you dumb ****ing ass clow stubborn clueless buffoon it's a damn elimination game and you're trailing. What a dumb ****ing buffoon ZOMGGGGGGG

Eller needs to stay in the third line. You honestly can't get promoted when you don't get past 15 goals/year.

Guys we didn't quit. Tampa just played up to their talent. We are a paper tiger. We desperately lack offense and are wholly dependent on Price. Tampa has played subpar most of this series and have finally started to show why they are simply a better team.

Exactly my thoughts, we played out of our heads for game 4 and 5 and Tampa has made the right adjustment and this is over. Move on to changes and lessons learned..

Conclusion from this series
You need finess and offensive creativity to win game

Habs dont have enough good skill offensive players and MT rigid defensive system kill offensive opportunity that make Habs a unbalance team to beat good team and win SC

I'm really disapointed in many way about the game. Its like they forgot how to make or receive a pass... And the cherry on top of that is that marvelous choke job plek is doing year after year. Why isnt he benched? Can t stand how soft he is

No you don't. LA didn't play that way.

Therrien wants to play the LA way, we're on our way to that too.

Well great year guys. Bitter end, but then again its always bitter when you get bounced.

Id live to see the following people (of note) gone for next season; MT, Pleks, DD, PAP and Markov.

Id like to bring in (realistically); Yakupov, big Joe, and Babcock. resign Petry

I really hope Therrien's fired in the off-season. I can't stand to watch another 4 years of this boring, dump-and-chase BS with a team that has to rely on their GOAT goalie 4/5 nights. I've never seen a team struggle so much with breakouts and special teams either. Piss poor. Just piss poor.

The transition game is non-existant. They rarely string three passes in a row to enter the zone and are constantly going back to retrieve the puck because Bishop is acting like a third D.

As of I have said in the past without major changes in the forward position we will be no closer to the Cup than ten years ago. We are indeed that bad offensivley.
