My predictions.

Will get qualifying offers:
Dobes
Primeau
Struble
Trudeau
Heineman
Farrell

Will not get qualifying offers:
Hoefenmayer
Harvey-Pinard (might negotiate lower AAV)
Lindstrom (perhaps offer AHL deal)
Simoneau (perhaps offer AHL deal)

UFAs to re-sign prior to July 1st:
Barré-Boulet

UFAs to be allowed to test market:
Savard (retiring)
Pezzetta
Dvorak
Armia
Gignac

Other opinions welcome.

Wortherspoon id bring back in the A.

Hoefenmayer might depending on what it is. I don't believe the habs will have many prospects graduating on the back end this year, plus some of the younger d will either graduate, or be dealt. If not him, but possibly Lindstrom if he wants to stay in NA.

Gignac has been a solid depth AHLer.

ABB, or someone else of AHL level skilled needs to be signed.

Andrew Poturalski would be a great replacement. He usually leads the AHL in points. Few seasons ago he racked up over 100.

He's on an AHL contract, but I hope Dauphin is kept around.
I'd re-sign Dauphin and Wotherspoon, in addition to Arseneau who was already extended, and Guriunov who got an AHL contract. Mianscum has a year left on his 2-way AHL/ECHL deal.

I'd let Jacobs and Hayes go.

Of the guys playing in Trois Rivieres on AHL contracts, I'd bring back Luke Cavallin for sure, plus maybe Novak, Beaucage and Jandric..

This Journal de Montreal Article predicts our UFA's and RFA's will be able to get the following contract & terms:

Joel Armia = AFP predicts 2 x $2,537,695

Christian Dvorak = AFP predicts 2 x $1,765,688

Michael Pezzetta = AFP predicts 1 x $775,000

Emil Heineman = AFP predicts 3 x $2,882,735

Jayden Struble = AFP predicts 2 x $1,786,304

Assuming those are accurate, would you bring back any of the UFA's at that price? Would you want to get rid of one of the RFA's at that value?

-2 x 2.5 is exactly where I had Armia clocked in at and wouldn't mind it so much
-If you CAN get Dvo for 2 x 1.75M I'd be AMAZED but I'd accept it too I guess lol
-Pezetta is not getting signed.
- 3 x 2.8 for Heineman..?? He's good.. he ain't 2.8M good yet..
- 2 X 1.7M for Stroobs seems on par looking at how Barron and Xhekaj were just paid last summer

And no Primeau is obviously not getting qualified.

I would qualify Lindstrom, a really good depth D who is also a solid AHL vet.

I think they wont qualify Primeau.

I don't see the rationale with not qualifying Primeau, even if it's just to trade his right during the summer.

I'm not sure about Trudeau and Farrell... they are both good AHLers... but they may want to try another organization...

I don't understand how anyone thinks they won't qualify Primeau, you could be right but it doesn't make any sense as why when they have the room on the 50 and it would be good to have the comp for Dobes at camp. Loser backs up Fowler in Laval, winner backs up Monty.
