I understand the frustration. It's the Sens. We don't want to lose to those bums whose highest moments are when they beat us...a bad team.

But people....again...look at the roster. Not only we were not strong to begin with...we are missing good player. Or at least missing jerseys. Even Dvorak...who I dislike....is still okay in a 3rd C position which would put everybody at their place.

I have no idea what some of you expect MSL or God to be able to do with that roster. Just seeing where we are right now is a feat by iself.

The league is ramping up and sooner or later we're going to hit a slump. But beyond wins they need to get back into staying in games and being competitive. The key here is not to let the loser mentality seep in. D core has hit a wall. Trades are needed to keep things fresh and move the season along

I find the decisions lately are sketchy at best. It almost looks like self destruction. We get 3 good games where our D's looked very good with Ghule paired with Matheson and Savard with Struble and Harris with Kovacevic. Because it was going so well, we bring Barron in and change the other parings. Then we start loosing. We constantly change the pairing its insane. We had few good games from Armia, Monahan and Roy so today we split them. I do not understand where they are going with these decisions. At the end of the game you swap Slaf with Anderson. Fine with that but send Slaf to a like with a bit of Offence like Roy, Monahan and Slaf but nooo. That would have been too logical.

Also this team does not shoot the puck its insane, Slaf at then why dont you shoot the puck. There is 3 min left its not the time for the perfect play. Too much attempt at the perfect play. Not enough at the good play.

meh, we're in an inconsistent team, playing .500. IMO they're playing above the expectations I had for them this year. time will tell if we fall apart and up up 10 games below .500 and with a top 8 pick.

I don’t get how people can blame the coach.

Brutal roster, injuries to two in our top six plus another center and we’ve played 8 in 13…

I expected us to be bottom ten with Dach and bottom five without him. And that’s right where we are.

There are 6 forwards right now that belong in this league. And out of those forwards, I include Gallagher. But Suzuki, Caufield, Slaf, Monathan and Anderson. Everybody else is interchangeable. Everybody else could be on any other team 4th line, still not ready (Roy) or playing in Europe.

And people are surprised by the result?

People should have been surprised to be that high before. Now it's regression towards the mean.

Would love to know if playing Allen Gallagher Armia Anderson so much comes from him or is he just following orders

Allen and Armia to showcase maybe.
Gallagher is a step closer LTIR each games he plays .
Anderson looks good on fast skate .

Start moving players out Kent, weaken the team ASAP lol

It is what should be done. Especially for next year's draft.

Show me the players. I am not a fan of these coaches but damn they don't have alot to work with.

One of the youngest D corps coupled with a large group of bad veteran forwards.
I can see a top 3-5 pick.
How about … show me a veteran NHL assistant coach with a proven track record?

True that they don’t have the players but can something not be done about surrounding MSL with better people who won’t be afraid to challenge him when needed? I’m not getting the impression that the current coaching staff has the ability to do that.

I’m pretty sure Dach & Newhook taking a regular shift will be a significant upgrade let alone off season acquisition & organic growth of the young players
I am not sure. Dach will likely have a "recovery" season... that is if he doesn't get injured again. So I am not counting much on anything from him. Newhook I don't think is anything... Especially if Habs keep the current coaching staff... i think players will really start tuning out. It's a joke.

I actually think that next season Habs are going to be even worse. There is nobody to replace the dead weight.
KH better f***ing be ready to make moves this off season, enough bullshit with these 25 picks in the next 2 years.. Start moving some for available players. If we draft with every single pick, were going to lose the majority anyway down the road to waivers!!

To me it has nothing to do with the result and everything to do with the way we play, we look lost in our own zone since the start of the season i see no improvement there at all and i dont think this is a good way to developp , there is no structure at all, the only reason this team overachieved is beceause of Monty and some good outing by Primeau and Allen

And what exactly MSL was thinking on the first goal, 23 sec of PP left face off in our zone and he keeps 4 forward on the ice and put the only D along the board. Wath kind of coaching is that

I could be wrong but to me MSL is not doing a good job at all

Very likely we get a top 5 pick, according to Tankathon we're the 4th most difficult schedule and most of the teams below us have a much easier schedule. Combine that with our standard subpar second half the last few seasons and I would say 4-5 is our likely pick.
