I get why people are freaking out over the hypocrisy, but it's not a super valid comparison. If Radulov comes over and is a problem in the locker room he'd be easy to get rid of, and the contract will likely be short, while Subban's NMC was kicking in today.

Does fix our top 6. But will Character man Therrien make a character judgment and throw Chucky and Radulov under the bus when things go wrong?

Imagine what would happen if MB gets Lucic and Kane as well and the fun that brings... He'll have to throw both Rads, Kane, Lucic + Emelin (because they'll become besties...), Chucky, Beaulieu and well, the whole team under the bus...constantly...that would be fun to watch...

I would welcome Radulov open arms......if he play the game like he can, we catch an awesome player, if not, it will be very entertaining

I think Radulov is a good signing. I can't see Rad & Chucky not having anything but fantastic chemistry together. Those 2 will be fun.

Unfortunately, Therrien is still our coach.

Still, with Rad we now have a legit top 5.

Pacioretty might have an aneurysm once he sees both Galchenyuk and Radulov celebrate extravagantly when they score.

Bergevin is pretty much throwing **** at a wall and hoping it sticks when it comes to building this team. Trading Subban for supposed locker room issues and now bringing in Radulov?

It fills out one of the two holes in the top-six but this is weird.

Not once has the club said they dealt Subban for locker room issues!! You can't hang them for hypocrisy if the supposedly false statement is being put in their mouths by the fans (or media).

Consider these two alternative statements:

"Marc, you said at the press conference yesterday that you needed to move PK because of questionable attitude, missed meetings, etc., and now you are bringing in Radulov, whose documented transgressions are bigger than PD's. Doesn't that make your club hypocritical?"

VERSUS

"Marc, you said at the press conference yesterday that PK was a great player and a wonderful person, and that moving him was the most difficult thing you have had to do until now in your stint as GM. Now you are bringing in Radulov, so doesn't that make your club hypocritical?"

Hopefully, we can see that the second statement is rubbish, right?

Who's ready for Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Radulov?

Is it ''Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Radulov'' or ''Pacioretty-Galchenyuk-Radulov constrained by Therrien's grinding system''? Because if it's the second one, might as well get over with it right now. Those three look good on besides each other on paper, but in real life it's just going to be a lot of soft perimeter shots from Casperetty, Galchenyuk being creatively-shy because of MT and Radulov most likely on the bench by game 8 of the season.

Ladd 7 yrs NYI
Reimer 5yrs Panthers
Eriksson 6yrs Vancouver

Radulov could end up being a steal at 1 or 2 years

Actually Rads may be the best thing to happen for us Habs fans. Rads may just not bother to listen to MT. Watch him make that team glorious, score, and get benched by MT...and then when he plays again, again, doesn't listen to MT, make that line fly and score again, and get benched again... Would be awesome for the longevity of MT. And unlike our prior past their prime stars (Semin etc.), Rads probably has enough skill to produce no matter what line MT banishes him too.

still have the idiot coach. I simply cannot see radulov and MT getting along. Hopefullly MT is canned this year and we'll have a real coach that can get the most out of the talent on the ice.
