Habs reverse retro Jerseys

I actually think it's a great way to increase revenue. If it was up to me I would have new design every year, but that's just me. I definitely don't see it as an affront to heritage. Soccer clubs have new kits every year, doesn't really tarnish the heritage of the clubs. Sure some versions are better than others, but it doesn't stop Real Madrid, Man United, AC Milan or Barcelona from still having iconic jerseys as long as you don't veer too much from the original. But I realize soccer has a different tradition.

Yeah, the European soccer clubs change their kits somewhat every year, and they typically go nuts with the 3rd kit.

You can be steeped in tradition like liverpool, and still have changes to the kit every year without cheapening the brand. Although, the one constant you do always see in liverpool is that the logo never changes, and I think that holds true for alot of the clubs over there.

What the habs have done kind of reminds me of what the big soccer clubs out in Europe do every year with their 3rd kits. They mix up the colours a bit, but maintain that logo. I like it.

Some very nice jersey, L.A. is fantastic, I really like the Wild, New Jersey, Vegas, ours. Not sure what the Jets were thinking, but that is. It a nice jersey. Don't like the Canucks, Arizona and Anaheim, looks to Childish.

I don't know if I'll buy this one but I do need a new jersey. I'm a bit torn because while I do like the novelty I just dunno if I dig the blue jersey besides that. I used to be really into jerseys but stopped because the ones I'd get would leave soon after.

I have 2 Komisarek jerseys and a Higgins jersey. Got a Koivu but it's signed so I want to keep clean. T-shirts I have Laraque, both Kostitsyns and Tanguay. I am 99% sure I have a Cammalleri one too somewhere in a box. It's just bad luck when I buy merchandise. I have a signed game-used stick from Higgins' one and only hat trick game as a Hab. Now I use it to reach things on the top shelf in my garage. They always end up leaving on bad terms when I buy their shit.

I was thinking of getting a stitched Koivu jersey next. At this point it's timeless. But if I get the retro one I got to take a risk on a current guy. Gallagher maybe? Or Suzuki?

Lol I bought a girl I was dating at the time a Plekanec #35. Broke up soon after he changed it.

I don't know if I'll buy this one but I do need a new jersey. I'm a bit torn because while I do like the novelty I just dunno if I dig the blue jersey besides that. I used to be really into jerseys but stopped because the ones I'd get would leave soon after.

I have 2 Komisarek jerseys and a Higgins jersey. Got a Koivu but it's signed so I want to keep clean. T-shirts I have Laraque, both Kostitsyns and Tanguay. Last jersey I bought for myself was probably back in 2011 or so. Its a Price jersey in those vintage whites from the 40's.

At that point, I began to feel a bit strange about wearing jerseys as I started getting older than the players whose names are on the back. I don't know if anyone else feels that way or whether its just me.

Having said that, you can never go wrong with a koivu jersey. I also got my Dad a Gallagher jersey a few years ago. Its the one the habs wore at the winter classic against Boston.

For the current players, I think Price, Weber, or Suzuki would all be great additions.

I don't agree with some of these. Not a Homer comment, Habs jersey is a big change from some of the others higher ranked.

But it's an opinion on fashion. I remember not liking some of the new sweaters when they first came out but they grow on you. I can't even remember which ones I didn't like. I think it's an interesting switch for a once in a while jersey. It does look pretty good as a full uniform.

I pre ordered that yotes jersey and the avs jersey haha, the arizona jersey is so ugly that it works lol. I like the habs reverse retro, its not the best but id rank it top 10 at least

I might buy that Avs jersey, or a cheap knockoff. They really nailed it. I use to like the oilers weird oil meteor one. Some islander fans didn't like theirs, I thought it was pretty nice. I think the only HORRIBLE one is the red wing one. Some of the other are OK, but they almost all do more than plain and bland wing jersey. I may go see what the mainboard is saying. I really like that blue for us. Its the right shade. And yeah the leaf logo is enormous. Someone is compensating.

FYI for those interested, Winers and Marshals, at least here in Laval got a bunch of authentic Habs jerseys.

They have plain jerseys for 99.99$ and either a Price or Weber jersey for 109.99.

Everything is stitched, fight strap included and 80% of the stock is the home Red Jersey. So Price or Weber fans out there you can get a jersey from Winers or Marshals for 1/3 the usual price.

Or get yourself the plain jersey and get it named and numbered.
