For those interested, the Flyers won in SO so the Habs are now tied with SJ at #31. Only one point ahead of Nashville.

Yeah, Montreal is last in East now with the Philadelphia win.

Preds got stomped on by Florida. Sharks play Minnesota tonight. Nashville's next game is Saturday against Utah, while Montreal plays Toronto; however it will be the 2nd game of a back-to-back for T.O.

No logical reason to expect that Laine will be any better than Dach when he returns
Not with this dogshit roster with a peewee coach.

It helps change the narrative which is what we need around here, apply some pressure to these bozos
People around here are SO in denial. They've convinced themselves that Suzuki and CC are 100+ point players and that MSL is some f***ing wizard of coaching for some reason.

I'm usually one of the more positive ones around here but it's mind-boggling to see the mental gymnastics of some of our fellow fans.

almost 20% of season and they are in the bottom. They aren’t going to turn this around so it’s time to go full tank. Move or sit Savard, Dvo, Army, and Anderson and go full tank.

Sad to say but season is done.
I haven't been able to watch all the games this year, but when I see every night we only scored like 2 goals and only the vets recorded any points, that's a major issue. I'm fine with losing as long as our young guys are doing well and improving, but they really aren't outside of the first line (and Guhle) ((Hutson is a rookie so he cannot improve nor regress))

Does St Louis smoke some good stuff behind the bench? Where are they going to "flipper"? f***! Wake up dude... your players are confused out of their minds. Nobody is going to "flipper".

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!

Newhook a "flipper" tonight. He played 13 games like he had a fresh lobotomy then "Il a flipper ça".

The Hughes Masterclass posts are so funny these days

He’s good at signing contracts but he is pretty trash at everything else.

It’s really just 3 guys in a constant circle jerk with each other

It honestly breaks my heart to even have typed that, but at some point you need to face reality, say "we tried and it's not working" and move on, rather than digging ourselves deeper, and deeper, and deeper into the ground.

A lot of our failures honestly ride of MB's dumbass contracts, but we can't just scapegoat him either. We need a real coach and a winning culture.

It's hard to fathom us making the playoffs, let alone winning the Cup when we can barely win more than 30 games. But hey as long as CC and Suzuki scored 5 more points than they did last year it's all good for some people.

There is no way to know if the coach isn't any good or if the players aren't following his instructions. I am sure they know who is supposed to drop back when Hutson goes deep but someone is too faking stupid to do it. HuGo should know what is going on though.

We're such a bad team.

It was nice to see good efforts from a handful of players, and some rewards come through for them like Newhook and Gallagher.

Matheson and Dach are both really bad right now. Two players we need to be good, if we want any hope of staying in the mix.

But man, we are almost certainly picking in the top 5 this year. It's ugly hockey out there.

A proper Rebuild isn't for everyone

It is 2 years into the rebuild. The only legitimate problem is what seems to be a lack of effort.

Which stems from a lack of accountability imo (from the coaching staff)

So many great coaches available over the last 2-3 years (not saying they all wanted to come here, of course) and who do we roll with during that time? Burrows and Robidas? Lmao. God forbid we give Mitch Love a call.

Some on here are ok with a 10 yr rebuild, lol.

Don’t know how anyone can watch this mess in yr 3/4 and say everything is fine.

Slafkovsky is looking like poop as well. I know it was a weak as hell draft that year, but I am expecting more from this guy even at his age. Can't hold onto his stick,, looks and plays like a low iq individual and wouldn't hit the broad side of a barn. The habs drafting is pure garbage but it would really set this team back if Slafkovsky turns out to be Bustkovsky
