Eller and Bourque were peak performers that Spring. Too bad they couldn't find reach that level in the regular season. There were times that Lars Eller looked like Mats Sundin, but those moments were fleeting.

Going with what I remember he was very timid and obviously shying away from any contact. (IMO) He knew he was going to go UFA no matter what and didn't want to risk an injury.
