Oh well the Habs lost 2 regulation time games this weekend, which really isn't a bad thing looking at the state of this team right now, but at least Michigan beat Ohio St so I'm still happy with this weekend in the sports department.

I liked the effort in the 3rd, that's pretty much it. Although Primeau made some clutch saves in the 3rd to give the team a chance, this lost is on him and Matheson. Primeau isn't an NHL goalie, he has the physical tools, but the mental just isn't there.

Caufield scored, Suzuki and Hutson got points, so that;s good. Xhekaj had a good game too.

If MSL isn't going to put Slaf back on the 1st line, Heineman deserves a shot there imo. He should also take Dach's spot on PP1
Not Slaf at least until he starts skating better.
It's easy to see what having speed on the wings does for Suzuki's game.
He's able to slow the game down and find those players coming late.
I mentioned this before he can't slow the game down when the line is already moving slowly.
Heineman and leave him develop there. End of Story.

I don't know how you envision a game where some players are making mistakes playing 8 year olds and players like Armia and Dvorak age are shooting right at the goalie. ECHL goalies would be catching shots like that.

I feel sorry for Slafkovsky, playing with a center like Dvorak is purgatory.

Dach is destroying his line.

Try getting Sillinger from Columbus. You have high draft picks. He's the perfect center for you, he'll fight to the last, plays hard, can fight, and has very good chemistry with Laine.

Just don't put Dach or Newhook with them.

Team is way too soft.

Even Hutson is stronger on the puck than some of our big kids.
100% , you cannot rebuild a soft team/franchise. Boatload of weak pathetic losers up front, and the coach won't dress one more guy with balls because you know.. wouldn't want to miss out on Armia, Roy.. those types of legends...
