Hab fans cheering Fleury after he shut out their favorite team.
From November 10 through January 21, Montreal was 20-10-2. That's the 3rd best record in the league over 32 games, by pt.%.Extremely strong goal-tending made them seem better that they are in my opinion.
Obciously not has bad as we started though.
The only way to measure how you’re going is to look at your record. And yes it makes perfect sense to extrapolate how you’ve done over 82 because then it gives you a benchmark. This is done all the time. It makes absolutely no sense to throw it out and say it has no meaning.1) Pace is a meaningless in the context of projecting total wins because of volatility of flows and factors.
Injuries, mental fortitude and changes make it so that each game is different from the last when comparing game 1 and 82. This differs from streaks as they are clear sign pointing to the many times the team is able to show they are consistently capable no matter the opp.
This is ridiculous. The team just came off a rocking month beating the best teams in the league. Get real. Your post is so bad it’s trolling.2) The hell im talking about is the current habs team that never really won mutiple games in a row in regulation with their starter. Dobes covered up issues by playing so well. + I really dont think some teams took us seriously IE Florida. A couple heaters all happened at the same time/.
I didn't lose any sleep over it, but I did lose 10 lbs this month, if that counts.Lighten up Francis.
Congrats! Thats no small feat.I didn't lose any sleep over it, but I did lose 10 lbs this month, if that counts.

During that span, Montembeault's SV% was .904 in 25 games. Dobes had his 5 great games, and Primeau the remaining 2, a loss and a win. Overall, that's decent goaltending, certainly not the main reason for the team's success.
What's changed? Four games. That's it. We're freaking out over four freaking games where the team had the nerve to go 0-3-1.
A few folks predicted the Habs would finish bottom-5. The team's been proving them wrong for months, but one bad week is enough for them to pop up again, looking for validation.
Back to regular work outs, and not over eating. I didn't know there was a fitness thread, I'll take a peak, thanks!Congrats! Thats no small feat.
Post your progress is the fitness thread. Lots of support there.
I fell off the wagon a bit in December and got sick in January. My progress has stalled a bit. February will be better…
But it will have to be after this weekend. I’m back ‘home’ in the West Island for the weekend and we’re gonna hit all the old haunts. Pizza, smoked meat, Lafleurs…. Yeah, we’re gonna do it proper. Then back to the gym to repair the damage.

DoubleWe live in a participation trophies era. Nothing is taken seriously on the ice.

Almost as sickening as that game where we had some of the alumni in the building and got completely embarrassed. I thought we finally got past that type of gutless hockey.Completely agree with Nilan. To line up to congratulate an opposing goalie, who just shut you out, and never wore the bleu blanc et rouge was sickening to witness.
You can act disingenuous as much as you want, it's not just the four losses. It's the injuries coupled with the stark lack of depth that some had warned about.
