Post-Game Talk: Habs lose to the Wild. Uneventful at best.

Nothing to note.

Team is definitely going to be sellers at the deadline.

The only flowers will be on the grave of their playoff hopes.

Embarrassing.

Discuss.
I didn't watch. Haven't watched last 3-4 games. I knew what was coming. The backbreaker loss against Leafs killed us

Meh, we're not a good team yet. I think when Demidov, Rein, Hage, Beck and Fowler are regulars on the team we will be in good shape. It's gonna take a few years though.

I thought X was our best D tonight. Yes he screwed up on the 2nd goal but he wouldn't have been in that position if wonder boy hadn't been caught up ice like he always is.

None of Matheson, Carrier, Struble (understandably) or Savard looked good. Wonder boy is what he is, could be electrifying some games but has been un-noticeable lately. That said, he's still a rookie and will go through growing pains. He will be a good one.

I very like Patrik Laine but I think he should be healthy-scratch. The fact that he has problems with his skating and shot is understandable. But a few primitive passes, especially the one that led to Minnesota's third goal, deserve nothing less. Patrik played horribly, destroyed his line. One stands like Lot's wife on the PP, waiting for the pass instead of moving, even though he can see his opponent is watching out for him. Let MSL do something about him.
And if he does play, let him play under 10 minutes on the 4th line without PP. If he doesn't like it, there's a waiver.
He didn't even touch that puck, it was Wild player who took puck out, but Newhook should have gotten it in the middle of the own zone, that goal actually ended game. :D

Laine just came from bench:

100% with you with this, that Leafs game shifted everything.

Sell Laine, Armia, Evans whoever is healthy do it now.

It's clear you don't watch. We beat the Rangers 24 hours after the Leafs loss in maybe the most exciting and inspired game of the year. A few days later we beat Tampa Bay. It's such a lazy narrative that the Leafs loss was a backbreaker. Anyone who says that probably only watches the Habs when they play the Leafs.

To be expected, the organization, team and fans all simped for one of the most overrated goalies of our generation. A shutout was the only thing happening.

MSL: "Il nous manquait beaucoups de jus a soir..."

No shit.

But why???
One month of meaningful hockey in three years, quite an accomplishment.:clap:Were back to accommodating other teams /players when needed, after all it was a p'tit gars de chez nous's last game here ,wouldn't want to hurt his feelings.:baghead:ps. Columbus won again.thanks Laime.

Your fans showed real class tonight celebrating MAF. Cheers!
Turned the game off after the first cluster f#%k goal,I was hoping for them to cheer Fleury and boo us at the same time if we lost  this game was all about Fleury, hell even the pre game show was an hour dedicated to Fleury.:banghead: oh well back to unwatchable hockey, thanks JG,KH

Team is hard to watch right now. Does MSL ever try something with his top lines? Like does he ever switch some players around mid-game to try to make something happen?
that would require actual NHL coaching experience,oh wait.....
