Post-Game Talk: Habs lose to the Leafs. Fail to clinch.

We lost in OT against a potential cup contender, tired.

And we got rid of three teams today.

Our diamond in the rough goalie with Laval came as advertised. The other kid goalie was amazing.

Out phenom is getting integrated quickly and will play in f***ing Montréal, in front of 21, 273 crazy folks. Guys will be pumped and will win it.

This forum makes Reddit become reasonable. Which is scary.

Two years ago a Blackhawks roster that was torched to the ground eliminated the Penguins in the last game of the season.
Ugh don’t remind me. Because of that, the Panthers made the playoffs and instead of getting the 14th pick we got the 31st.

And because the blackhawks won, they jumped up to 3rd overall (from the bottom), won the lottery and got Bédard

well, it definitely sucks to not get the 2 points, but my god some people on here are so over the top lol... lets step back from the ledge lol oh well its the HF boards way lol

Anyway, not a great game.. but Dobes stole us a very crucial point.. 2 points more to go... or 1 Columbus loss... dont care how we clinch i just pray we clinch by Monday.

and OMG Demidov will be in next game!!!!!

WOOOOOOOOOO!

flat footed start as per usual. Bad powerplay. Didn’t ever really look dangerous outside of a few good shifts by our 1 good line.

Not at all. Was a great first 10min, on the road, against a contender, in game 2 of a back to back.

Newhook line won its shifts.
Dvo & Evans lines were even or better.

Refs & PK time tilted some the stats, as did missed nets.

Suzuki went for it in OT. He just missed. No crosscheck call on Tavares of course.

Detroit, NYI & NYR were all eliminated today. We need 2 points against Chicago to eliminate Columbus. Hopefully, Pezzetta & Kapanen are out, and Heineman & Demidov are in.

Columbus plays Washington tomorrow, but I'm not expecting Washington to win that. They're playing a trash lineup.

Team might have done something in the 3rd, but Pezzetta took the dumbest penalty ever, which led to a secondary penalty. That killed whatever momentum we had.

Toronto got in the way of & blocked a lot of shots.

Let's get the win we need at home.

The rules change around the crease, but that infraction at the net essentially knocked Suzuki out of the play.

Refs usually call things when the infraction can lead to a dangerous counterattack, but its one of those plays where it likely doesn't end up in anything 5 on 5. 3 on 3 is a different story.
