Post-Game Talk: Habs lose to the Blues. Fail to come back from another large deficit.

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Dude it's a message board. Have a take, don't suck... And don't take it personally if a bad take gets called out.

I responded to your poorly reasoned point as directly as possible, sorry itge reply was too hard to understand :dunno:
How has anything you said argued against my quantitative reasoning that the man in man D zone system we employ is not a long term solution to sustainable dominance. Until you can answer that, you’re literally talking to yourself. Don’t get mad because your a fan girl for Marty

Let me guess, you're one of those MSL bashers that's gone out now that we're on a losing streak again? 🍻
let me guess, you’re one of those die hard marty strokers that can’t stand criticism to your prince and will attack an another person and polarize them because they see different than you regardless of the streak ?

Can you imagine if we offer sheeted Holloway and Broberg? Gave up a 2nd and 3rd but allows trade of a D. Which would return much more than a 2nd, 3rd

Offer sheet this summer is definitely way to go. Many teams up against cap and we have tons caproom. Could steal couple good young players

Which win streak? It long ago we beat the last four cup champs almost in a row. And we just recently beat Florida again. This isn’t flukey stuff man.
Its 100% fluke, if you think this team is legit with no 2nd line, no real consistent number 1 Goalie that can be counted on and Savard / Matheson being used as much as they are, you're in la la land !

If we're talking strictly RFA, I feel Montreal still needs a stud D with size enter Bouchard and Dobson either or would a great fit and then there's the obvious hole at 2C the prize here would be McTavish but Vilardi and Peterka especially Peterka would easier to convince to leave their current teams (Who the hell wants to live in Buffalo).

Laine experiment I don't think is going to last and if I was the GM I sign Voronkov to an offer sheet, the kid is a monster at 6'5 and almost 230lbs has 20 goals and 42 points in 62 games this year. Then trade Laine.

Here's my UFA pipe dream

Caufield Suzuki Slafkovsky
Voronkov Peterka Demidov
Heinemen Newhook Dach
Anderson Evans Gallagher

Ghule Bouchard
Strubble Hutson
Xhejak Carrier
Reinbacher

Bye bye Matheson and Savard....

It’s not fluke. You don’t fluke out on beating that many good teams.

And NO that doesn’t make us a contender. It just makes us an up and coming team that can beat anyone on any given night. We’re a bubble team and might not make the playoffs but we’re not the pack of scrubs you’re trying to write us off as.
